The show produced by Texas-based company Sky Elements would have included “200 drones in a coordinated themed dance across the night sky.”

But days after a rogue drone struck a 7-year-old during a holiday show produced by Sky Elements at Lake Eola, the Marriott announced their show would be cancelled.

The Marriott did not explicitly state it was because of the mishap at Lake Eola, but the announcement comes as both the FAA and the NTSB announced they were investigating the incident.
