Orlando White Castle announced Wednesday it would raise money for the nonprofit organization through its fundraising program, “District Charity of Choice.”
Customers can round their checks to the nearest dollar through the end of April.
White Castle started the fundraising program in 2021 to celebrate 100 years, where each manager works with their team members to pick a cause in districts across the nation.
Last year, the company raised nearly $1.2 million for 48 organizations, including domestic violence shelters and mental health groups.

Francis Nation, an operating partner for Orlando White Castle, said it’s a family-owned business and the team members are a big part of the organization.
“We believe involving (team members) in decisions about our philanthropic initiatives will foster an environment where they feel valued and generate more enthusiasm for our fundraising efforts,” Nation said.
White Castle said the second phase of fundraising would be in the fall.
