POLK COUNTY, Fla. — Two Orlando teens were arrested after deputies say they stole three vehicles and burglarized several others in Polk County.

According to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office, deputies were called to the Loma Del Sol subdivision near Davenport Thursday morning after someone reported seeing a “suspicious vehicle.”

As deputies were arriving in the subdivision, they spotted a white Mercedes-Benz and a black BMW speeding away from the neighborhood.

When deputies attempted to pull the cars over, both cars sped off.

Deputies said the Mercedes driven by 16-year-old Victor Antonetty hit a curb, disabling the car.

Investigators said Antonetty then got out of the car and attempted to call for a Lyft but was taken into custody before the driver could pick him up.

A short while later, deputies said the BMW driven by 17-year-old Geovanni Luis Vizcaino crashed near the intersection of Ronald Reagan Parkway and Champions Gate Boulevard.

Vizcaino fled the scene and was later picked up by his mother who took him to a nearby hospital.

After dropping her son off at the hospital, Vizcaino’s mother called detectives and told them where to find her son.

Detectives said Antonetty and Vizcaino’s crime spree began after they stole a van from Orange County and drove to Loma Del Sol.

Once in the subdivision, detectives said the pair broke into dozens of cars looking for money and other valuables to steal.

Investigators said during the investigation, they found several credit cards and IDs linked to several burglaries in Orange County.

Polk County Sheriff Grady Judd said the justice system needed to hold juveniles accountable.

“We cannot allow out-of-control juveniles to continue to erode our quality of life,” Judd said.
