Orlando police investigating carjacking near I-4 and Princeton St.

ORLANDO, Fla — Orlando police are investigating a carjacking near downtown Orlando.

OPD says, around 3:45 a.m., the victim was at the 7-Eleven at Princeton St. and I-4.

While the driver was in the store, the suspect climbed into the back seat and forced the passenger out of the car at gunpoint.

The suspect then took the vehicle and headed to I-4. The car was later recovered, abandoned off Taft Ave.

Police do not have a suspect description to release at this time.
