ORLANDO, Fla. — Police are investigating a shooting that left one person dead and six others hurt in Orlando.
The shooting happened around 11 p.m. on Wednesday in the the area of Ironwedge Drive and South Lake Orlando Parkway, in the Rosemont neighborhood.
Orlando Police Department said when officers arrived, they located multiple victims, with one person dead.

Police said 21-year-old James William III died after he was taken to a hospital.
Police said the shooting happened after a fight between two groups early in the day.

The fight was over a disagreement involving a vehicle not being returned by a mutually agreed-upon date, officers said.
OPD said the investigation is ongoing and the agency will release more information once it becomes available.
