ORLANDO, Fla. — Two men were arrested Thursday in connection with a shooting at a nightclub that killed two people.

Luis Gadiel Cruz Nazario, 20, is facing attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault charges.

Jose Brull Lopez, 22, was rearrested on charges of shooting into or throwing a deadly missile into a structure, and use of a firearm as a felon.

Lopez was arrested the day after the shooting on charges of carrying a concealed weapon and tampering with evidence.

Police have not said what led to the new charges.

Channel 9 learned Nazario was arrested for trafficking heroin two weeks before the shooting, but was released on bond.

A total of 10 people were shot at the Glitz Ultra Lounge on Feb. 7, police said.

Jonathan Rojas and Joseph Villalobos were killed and another person was hospitalized in critical condition. The remaining shooting victims did not have life-threatening injuries.

There were 300 people in the club at the time of the shooting.

Lopez and Nazario were arrested on warrants.

According to the arrest affidavit, a fight between two groups broke out at the club and shots were fired.

One of the people hospitalized participated in the altercation.

Newspapers in Puerto Rico reported that Rojas had ties to a drug trafficking organization.
