This event was one of the biggest fundraisers of the year for the nonprofit, which aims to keep animals off the streets and find homes for them.
Hundreds of animals were dressed in costumes for the Pet Costume Contest with celebrity judges and cash prizes.

If your dog has lots of energy, you can bring them down to the Splash Zone to jump off the dock, all for a good cause.
This event raises money for the Pet Alliance. A big part of that fundraising has been from the costume contest.

Pets are still available for adoption at the event if you are looking for a new furry friend.
You can also grab a bite to eat, create artwork, or visit the tents, where a Channel 9 booth will be set up. There are “human” and “canine” activities for everyone to enjoy. Pet Alliance will have its mobile vet unit at the event to provide free vaccines.
Paws in the Park ran from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
