Orlando leaders help promote safety during National Bike & Roll to School Day

ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando leaders came out Thursday to help promote National Bike & Roll to School Day.

Orlando Mayor Buddy Dyer and others took part in the event to help promote safety.

The city also introduced a new pop-up bike and walking path.

The route runs from Leu Gardens to Audubon Park School along Corrine Drive.

“We’re going to be doing a lot of improvements,” Dyer said.

The mayor said the temporary enhancements highlight the long-term transformational vision for Corrine Drive to make it a complete street and a more inviting corridor for all travelers.
