ORLANDO, Fla — The City of Orlando will hold the final presentation of the Lake Eola master plan this Thursday.
The final plan will provide details on changes needed but also provide a vision for the park’s future for the next 50 years.

The City of Orlando started holding community meetings on Lake Eola’s master plan back in October 2020.
The city held a series of community and stakeholder engagement opportunities, including a citywide survey, to gather input on the park’s future.

In the 1980s, Lake Eola underwent a $3.3 million renovation that added much of what visitors see today, including the bandshell, Japanese garden and the ting, a Chinese pagoda-like structure.
