Orlando is nearly back to the milestone number of visitors it hit in 2019 just before the Covid-19 pandemic ravaged global commerce.

The region in 2022 welcomed more than 74 million visitors — up nearly 25% from 59.3 million visitors in 2021, according to Visit Orlando data. That means Orlando’s visitation is 98% recovered from pre-pandemic levels.
Here are some additional facts:
- The travel and tourism industry supports over 392,000 jobs and represents a $67.1 billion economic engine with $5.3 billion in local and state taxes.
