ORLANDO, Fla. — Leaders in Orlando have approved a plan to bring speed-zone enforcement cameras to 21 different schools.

The Orlando City Council voted to pass the ordinance on Monday.
It’s similar to the red-light camera system.

Drivers will get fined $100 for driving 10 miles over the posted speed limit.
The council will also consider adding cameras outside of two dozen additional campuses.

This year, several other cities in Central Florida have either installed or approved this new system.
