Woman dies after being found shot inside a car at Maitland apartment complex

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla — Orange County sheriff deputies are working a death investigation at the The Bentley at Maitland Apartment Complex.

Deputies responded to the 6700 block of Woodlake Drive in Maitland for a general emergency call.

When deputies arrived they found the victim, a Black female in her 30s/40s, inside a car with a possible gunshot wound.

The victim was transported to a hospital, where she was pronounced deceased.

There is no suspect information at this time.
