ORLANDO, Fla. — New video evidence has surfaced on social media showing someone pointing a gun at people in the middle of the Mall at Millenia on Sunday.

An Orlando police officer said they saw several people running out of Macy’s and through the parking lot. One person told the officer they heard about five gunshots, but Macy’s staff told police there were no shots fired.

They said the loud noises came from a large group of people beating up a man using store mannequins.
The video that’s circulating social media shows someone swinging at a man and missing. The man who was swatted at then runs back to a friend and retrieves a handgun from a backpack.

At first, he keeps the handgun down by his side as he runs around in front of Finish Line. Then, he goes through the store with the gun. He eventually comes back out, lifts the gun up and points it directly at someone.

A spokesman for the mall told Eyewitness News that the mall employs local law enforcement officers to supplement its security team every day, and that the police presence allowed the isolated incident to be resolved swiftly and peacefully.
Orlando police said there was no threat to the public, and that charges are being filed against four people who were involved.
