BAY LAKE, Fla. — The Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend is underway.
The 5K and 10K races are complete.
Runners are preparing for Saturday's half marathon and Sunday's full marathon.

Gregory Cohen, who has scleroderma, a rare autoimmune disease, said he hopes that participating in Sunday’s race will help him raise awareness about his condition and inspire others to not limit themselves.
"It helps me feel better every day, because it helps me reduce inflammation in my body, and it makes my joints feel a little bit better," he said. "At the end of the day, I emotionally feel better, too."

Disney advises runners to alternate between water and electrolyte-based hydration options and to wear light clothing and breathable headwear.
