BAY LAKE, Fla. — Walt Disney World announced Tuesday that it is canceling two of its most popular holiday events this year.
The park said Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party and Candlelight Processional at EPCOT will be on hiatus this year.
This comes after the resort canceled its Halloween event, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, earlier this year because of the pandemic.

Cinderella Castle will not be decorated with “Dream Lights” like in years past, according to the park. Instead, the park said, “when night falls, special projection effects will give a festive look to Cinderella Castle this year, providing a colorful backdrop for our guests' photos.”
Disney said the parks will be decorated for the holidays, and special food and merchandise will be sold starting Nov. 6.
