Police said the violent threats stretched to a girl he met online and her parents.

It was late Wednesday afternoon when video shows how a speeding, stolen Ford Escape heading south on Interstate 95 was stopped by an alert trooper’s pit maneuver near Jacksonville.

Within moments, the teenaged subject of a multi-state manhunt, and his alleged criminal plot ended.

Police said 16-year-old Charlie Hall, from Newport, Virginia, made threats via voicemail to an Orlando police sex crimes detective who uncovered illegal, illicit pictures that Hall was soliciting online from the girl in Orlando.

Police said when Hall learned of the investigation, he crafted a disturbing plan to locate the home of the detective on his case and kill her. He then planned to find the underage girl and was ready to kill her parents if they got in the way.

“He did research on how to make a pipe bomb, a piece of pipe was found in the vehicle,” said Orlando Police Chief Orlando Rolon. “He posted messages on social media on how to purchase a gun.”
