ORLANDO, Fla. — New video shows the moment police say a street race ended with one car smashing into a house and another one catching fire.
The footage from Wednesday afternoon shows debris falling as the first car hits the home on Ivey Lane and several people get out of the car and run away from the scene.

Mother of two Neshay Singleton was taking a shower inside her home when the car came crashing inside.
“I want to come home but I can’t,” Singleton said. “I don’t have a home to come home to.”

Cameras caught one car catch on fire as Singleton was trying to escape out the window before the flames touched her home.
“It was senseless they didn’t care they just got out and left,” she said.
As she climbed out, cameras show one boy climbing out the dirver side of the Acura and another coming from the Infinity.

Singleton said racing on her street has been an issue for years.
Florida Highway Patrol records show 25 crashes on Ivey Lane since 2022, with two pedestrians hit and 16 people injured.
