ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — This fall, there will be a new class of students at the University of Central Florida.

A group of about 750 members will join the Learning Institute for Elders at the University of Central Florida.
These students, who are 50 years and older, are passionate about lifelong learning, no matter what age they are.

The group will hear about groundbreaking research and other topics from UCF faculty, national experts and international experts at a meeting Tuesday in the Pegasus Ballroom.
They will plan to discuss the following topics in a series of presentations:
- UCF Creative Village and UCF Downtown
- High-speed information technology
This will be the first time this fall that LIFE at UCF will gather, but they will meet weekly throughout the semester.

LIFE members regularly volunteer in the community, especially with the Knights Helping Knights Pantry and helping to run a Toys for Tots drive with the UCF police department.
The organization also has a collection of grants, awards and scholarships to help give back to the university.

LIFE at UCF was founded in 1991.
