ORLANDO, Fla. — A white rose -- a sign of respect and remembrance.
At the University of Central Florida Thursday, there were 49 white roses, one for each of the victims five years ago at the Pulse nightclub shooting.
More than 200 people gathered under a rainbow Pegasus in solidarity, and in unity.

After nearly five, the pain from Pulse is still present. There will always be hurt, but there’s also constant healing.
The ceremony and vigil brought together students, faculty and community members to reflect on the attack.
