Troopers investigate deadly crash involving pedestrian in Orange County

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Florida Highway Patrol troopers are investigating a deadly crash in Orange County.

Troopers said they responded after a crash happened around 8:16 p.m. Sunday on Sand Lake Road near Presidents Drive.

Officials said a pedestrian was not in a crosswalk when they were crossing the roadway and were struck by a car.

Troopers said the driver of the car and a passenger were not injured and stayed at the scene.

The age and name of the victim was not released by law enforcement.
