Teenager shot in Apopka, deputies say

APOPKA, Fla. — A teenager was shot in South Apopka Thursday night, according to Orange County deputies.

At about 8 p.m., investigators said a teenager was shot along West Ella J Gilmore Street.

They were taken to a hospital.

There were still about a dozen deputy vehicles at the scene around 1 a.m.

Deputies have not said how serious the teenager was injured or if they are looking for a suspect.
