ORLANDO, Fla. — People in Orange County are getting access to free health checks this weekend.

It’s all part of the annual conference for an international sorority in Orlando.

The two-day, pop-up wellness fair is hosted by members of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority.
It includes a mammogram bus at Orange Blossom Family Health that is helping local women stay on top of their health screenings for free.

Other screenings are also available at no cost at the free clinic along Old Winter Garden Road.
“I don’t have insurance so it’s really good when you have these options,” Mayaribe Gomes said.

The wellness fair kicks off the sorority’s 70th international conference that is expected to pump millions into the Orlando economy.
The fair runs through Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
