Sesame Street family weekend returns to SeaWorld Orlando with new characters

Sesame Street Land Seaworld’s free Preschool Card returns for limited time (SeaWorld)

ORLANDO, Fla. — New furry friends will make an appearance during Sesame Street Kids’ Weekend.

Families can join in the celebration at SeaWorld Orlando this Saturday and Sunday.

There will be hands-on activities and photos with Sesame Street characters like Cookie Monster and new characters like Baby Bear, Honker and Dinger.

Big Bird will share stories throughout the day with “Storytime with Big Bird” and children can turn everyday waste into pieces with “Oscar’s Trash Art.” Children can also groove to the music at the Sesame Street Party Parade.

Children can also join the Everyday Heroes Club and meet members of the Orange County Fire Rescue and the Orange County Sheriff’s Office.

On Jan. 24, guests can celebrate Julia’s birthday at Sesame Street Land with storytime and photo opportunities.

And from Jan. 28 through Feb. 3, families can participate in Elmo’s Birthday Celebration with activities focusing on the red furry monster.

There will be a specific scavenger hunt for Elmo’s party that takes guests around the area.

The new character meet-and-greets will only be available for a limited time.
