Rosemont Elementary administrators assembled students and staff for the unsealing on Thursday morning.
Some of the current teachers were students at the school 25 years ago, when the capsule was sealed.
Former students were also on hand to watch the unsealing.
Some of the items inside included ribbons of the school’s original colors and a cassette tape of a dedication ceremony.
