WINTER PARK, Fla. — A group of preschoolers in Winter Park took to their tricycles Friday morning for some fun and for a good cause.

Rollins College hosted its 15th annual Trike-a-Thon.

The event raises money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
“We think it’s very important to partner with St. Judes, not just because it’s a great national organization, but because it teaches our very youngest children to give back,” said Sharon Carnahan, executive director of Hume House Child Development & Student Research Center.

Rollins College officials said that over the years, the event has raised more than $15,000 for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
