A coffee shop with multiple locations in Puerto Rico is opening its first Florida concept in Winter Park.

Cafe Don Juan has signed a lease to open a roughly 1,803-square-foot location in City Place at 1100 S. Orlando Ave.
The coffee chain plans to open more locations in Central Florida and Tampa as part of a Sunshine State expansion.
The retailer will open in a property that’s currently undergoing a facelift along a hot retail stretch.

Mills Place LLC, an entity related to Winter Park-based developer Garber Development LLC, is expected to wrap up construction in early February on the future City Place property, which will feature roughly 7,000 square feet of retail space.
So far, men’s hair salon Tune Up has signed a lease to open in the property, according to marketing materials.
