ORLANDO, Fla. — Police said Monday that they arrested an 18-year-old woman in the fatal shooting of a 17-year-old boy in a hotel room near Orlando International Airport.
Investigators said Sophia Miller shot Jamal Gabriel Alli to death at the Springhill Suites on Hazeltine National Drive late Sunday.

Miller was arrested on charges of manslaughter and tampering with physical evidence.
Firefighters said Alli, who was shot in the head, was with two women in the hotel room.
Police said the women told them Alli had accidentally shot himself.
A 16-year-old girl was also arrested in connection with the shooting and charged with tampering with evidence.

Detectives said they do not believe the shooting was related to two other shootings over the weekend in which teenagers were killed.
