ORLANDO, Fla. — Some Orlando teachers got a great start to the new school year this week.
A national nonprofit organization, Mailbox Money, donated $6,000 in cash to area school heroes.

The random act of kindness took place at Ridgewood Park Elementary, where teachers took home the cash for anything they wanted.

However, some teachers told Channel 9 they plan to put the money right back into their classrooms.
