ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando police released video Tuesday of a silver Kia Soul they say was involved in a fatal hit-and-run crash.
Police said a man was crossing Orange Avenue near Gore Street just after 5 a.m. Monday when he was hit and killed.
Police say the driver of the car then drove away after hitting the man.
Investigators are not releasing the name of the victim until they can notify his family.

“It appears there’s significant damage to the front area, especially to the front hood area,” Orlando police Sgt. John Keefe said. “You would know you hit something.”

Orlando police are asking anyone with information, including the driver, to come forward.
“I think if the person that was involved, you know, we understand people make mistakes. People under pressure, they make mistakes, but there’s a way to rectify that mistake and it’s to come forward,” Keefe said.
