ORLANDO, Fla. — Orlando City SC fans are celebrating Thursday after the team became champions Wednesday night.

The soccer club won the 2022 U.S. Open Cup.

The lions defeated Sacramento Republic FC, 3-0.
It’s the first time Orlando has won the trophy since they joined Major League Soccer in 2015.

To mark the big win, the team will host a celebration at Orlando City Hall at noon.
