Orlando airport-area apartment complex sale portends renovations

An apartment complex near Orlando International Airport has been sold to an out-of-state property manager with a penchant for modernizing older properties.

TA Dolphin Fee Owner LLC, a subsidiary of Los Angeles-based TruAmerica Multifamily, bought Maris Pointe, a 30-building complex at 5800 Dolphin Drive off Semoran Boulevard, for $41 million in a deal that closed Dec. 30, according to Orange County records. The seller was Bedrock Holdings II (Florida) LLC, an entity that shares an address with PGIM Real Estate in New Jersey.

Representatives for the buyer and the seller were not immediately available for comment.
