ORLANDO, Fla. — Orange County school officials have decided to postpone practices for fall sports because of concerns over the coronavirus.
Officials said fall athletics and marching band practices, which were set to begin on Monday, have been postponed until further notice.

Teams will still be allowed to hold conditioning workouts.
The Florida High School Athletic Association met Monday to discuss fall sports.

It was decided that it should be up to each individual school when to allow practice for those sports to start back up.
Officials said they are working on a plan to modify the fall sports schedules with a focus on student health and safety.
