Orange County health officials offer free back-to-school immunizations

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Orange County said it will be holding a free back-to-school immunization event for students starting Monday.

Officials said the event is free for Orange County Public Schools students and children who are entering, attending or transferring to Florida schools.

The event runs from at 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday until Aug. 8 at West Oaks Mall at 9401 W. Colonial Drive.

Officials said it will be open Saturday, July 25 and Aug. 8. It will not be open Sundays.

  • Appointments must be made by calling 407-723-5004.
  • Parents or guardians must bring student’s current shot record.
  • Parents or guardians must bring child’s birth certificate, passport or other government-issued identification.
  • One parent or guardian per child.
  • Parent or guardian must bring a valid ID.
  • For 680 forms child must be present.
  • No college vaccines.
  • No religious exemptions.
