This was all part of the American Red Cross’ Home Fire Campaign, which started in 2014.
The campaign uses a doorstep education approach with volunteers who provide fire safety education.
The American Red Cross said it responds to a disaster every eight minutes, and the vast majority are home fires that claim around seven lives every day.
