Orange County deputies locate 16-year-old girl after canceling Amber Alert

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Orange County deputies said they have located a 16-year-old who was suspected of being abducted Friday morning.

The Sheriff’s Office posted video of the possible abduction from the gas station on its Twitter account Friday.

Deputies canceled the Amber Alert Friday evening after they said the girl was seen on video.

On Monday, deputies said the girl was safe and she did not want law enforcement intervention.

Officials said a man who was taken into custody, Alexander Lopez, 44, has a long, violent criminal history and he wasn’t cooperating with investigators.
