Orange County continues to collect hurricane debris after Ian, Nicole

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — After Hurricane Ian and Tropical Storm Nicole passed over Florida, counties are still recovering from the aftermath.

Orange County contractors will continue picking up debris in the coming months and estimate that the task will be completed by mid-December.

Crews have resumed debris collection after Thanksgiving and will focus on areas that need it the most first.

The county reminds residents to place storm debris away from structures and poles.

Crews have collected enough debris since October to fill over 5,000 dumpsters.
