ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — With an urgent call for blood donations in Central Florida, OneBlood has teamed up with a local brewery to make donating a bit more enjoyable.

Since donating blood is considered something essential you can leave the house for, Orlando Brewing on Atlanta Avenue along with OneBlood on Friday came up with a fair trade: Donate a pint of blood on the big red bus in the brewery’s parking lot, then walk in and get a pint of beer for free.

“What we’re doing is trying to get the blood supply in our town back up, because of the lockdown, things are getting really, really low,” said Gerald Sammons with Orlando Brewing.

After the bus is gone, the brewery will remain open to grab your craft beer.

If you want to donate to OneBlood but missed today’s Pint for Pints, you can still do so on your time.
