ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Several sites in Central Florida will begin administering the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine on Tuesday.
The Federal Emergency Management Agency COVID-19 vaccination site will switch to providing the one-shot Johnson & Johnson vaccine at its main site in Orange County.
The site is prepared to give out 3,000 doses on Tuesday.

The Johnson & Johnson vaccine is authorized for anyone 18 and older.
On Monday, there was a huge turnout of young people as the site administered the Pfizer vaccine to 16- and 17 year old’s.
“Very happy to be here and see a great turnout of young kids and people around my age,” said Mimi Soto. “It feels good to know that we do care, and we’re making sure we’re safe.”

The site also has 2,500 doses of the Pfizer vaccine ready, but those are only for people returning for the second dose.
Anyone who is looking for their second dose will be put into a special line with little-to-no wait.
The FEMA site is open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Valencia College West Campus.

There are also three pop-up locations in Orlando that are offering the Johnson & Johnson COVID-19 vaccine.
Here are the locations for Thursday:
- God Is Able Outreach/Mt. Olive AME Church, 2525 W. Church St, Orlando, FL 32805
- Bravo Supermarkets, 2701 N Hiawassee Rd, Orlando, FL 32818
- Festival Park, 2911 E Robinson St, Orlando, FL 32803
Those sites will be open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
