ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Walt Disney World has unveiled a new option that will allow guests to utilize their cellphones, Apple Watch or other smart device while visiting the theme parks.
The Disney MagicMobile service will allow guests to access the same features as their MagicBand on their devices, including park entry.
“Guests will be able to create a Disney MagicMobile pass through the My Disney Experience app and add it to their smart device’s digital wallet,” Disney said in a news release. “It works like magic – most features will be available by just holding up your smart device near an access point, just like you do with a MagicBand.”

Guests can pick between using their MagicMobile or MagicBand, or even use both or alternate between the two.
Disney MagicMobile will launch in phases starting this year, and will first roll out ono Apple devices, according to Disney.
