ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Annual passholders can now book their reservations to visit Walt Disney World parks for when they reopen next month.
On Friday, the resort opened its new Park Pass Reservation System to passholders. Earlier this week, the system first opened to people staying on property to reserve their spot in the park.
Guests who already have park tickets can make their reservations beginning Sunday.

The new reservation system comes as COVID-19 numbers continue to spike, and some touring companies say they’re not even coming to Florida anymore.
Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom reopen July 11, and Epcot and Hollywood Studios will follow on July 15.
Shelley Caran with the blog On the Go in the MCO has already snagged her reservations the first week of reopening for Animal Kingdom, Magic Kingdom and Epcot.
“I’m going to go with my extra hand sanitizer, my extra mask,” she said. “If I don’t feel comfortable or if I feel too tired I’m going to OK leaving,” she said.
Disney has rolled out new rules to prevent spreading COVID-19 including temperature checks, face coverings and social distancing.
Also, guests can no longer hop between parks, and can only visit one park per day.

TUI, a travel agency based in the U.K., has announced that it is suspending “all holidays to Florida” through November.
“These changes would significantly impact the holiday experience for many TUI customers who plan their magical and often once-in-a-lifetime Florida holiday,” the company said.
Online, some annual passholders have said they aren’t ready to go back.
An online petition asking Disney to delay the reopening has garnered more than 12,000 signatures.
