Meet Grogu: New K-9 officer joins Orlando Police Department

ORLANDO, Fla. — A new K-9 officer is sniffing out crime with the Orlando Police Department.

The department announced Thursday that Grogu had joined the force.

Officers said the pup’s already developed a close bond with his human partner, Sgt. Rafael Ospina.

According to the city’s website, OPD currently owns 14 dual-purpose canines, seven specializing in narcotics detection and seven for bomb detection.
