APOPKA, Fla. — Orange County deputies have released more details after a missing 11-year-old girl triggered an Amber Alert over the weekend.
Deputies said Keith Edward Greene Jr. first connected with the girl through Instagram.
Investigators said Greene had communicated with the girl and instructed her how to pack.

He also told her they would need to “lay low” for six or seven years, police said.
The girl was later found safe by law enforcement and reunited with her family.

Deputies said this is an important reminder to parents to be aware of their kids' online and social media activity.
Greene was arrested in Santa Rosa County on charges of kidnapping, interference with custody, and luring or enticing a child.

Deputies could not confirm when Greene will be brought back to Orange County.
