ORLANDO, Fla. — The Orlando Police Department is investigating after a teenager was shot and killed at an apartment complex Sunday night.
Police said they responded to 5308 Long Road at the Isle Apartments in reference to a shooting.
Officers said a teen was suffering from a gunshot wound to the chest.
The teen, later identified as 16-year-old David Butterworth, was transported to a hospital where he later died, police said.
No suspect information was made available.
The investigation is ongoing.
