Orlando police searching for assailant after man stabbed at US Army Reserve

ORLANDO, Fla. — A man was hospitalized after he was stabbed in Orlando, police said.

Police said the stabbing happened in the 3700 block of Corrine Drive at the U.S. Army Reserve.

They said an unknown assailant came up to the man and stabbed him.

The man was taken to a hospital, where his condition is not known.

Investigators said the suspect is described as a man around 35 years old, between 6-foot 2-inches and 6-foot 4-inches tall weighing around 270 pounds with short facial hair.

Police said he was wearing a dark gray hooded sweatshirt with a Nike logo on the chest, black athletic style shorts, a COVID-19 face mask, and black gloves.

Officers said the suspect is possibly a transient in the Corrine Drive/Baldwin Park corridor.

If anyone sees him, they are asked to not approach him and immediately contact the police department directly by dialing 9-1-1, 321-235-5300, or the anonymous tip line at 1-800-423-TIPS (8477).
