A person is in critical condition after a shooting Friday evening, police said.

Police around 10:15 p.m. responded to the 4500 block of Lake Martin Lane and heard several gunshots. When officers arrived on scene, they found a male victim suffering from gunshot wounds, according to police.

The man was transported to a hospital.

The suspect is unknown and fled the scene in an unknown vehicle, police said.
