ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Orange County Sheriff’s Office on Friday identified a man and a woman who were discovered dead in a car that crashed near Bithlo early Thursday.
Investigators said Dustin Hunter, 30, and Amber Lynn Sutorus, 30, were shot to death.
Neighbors reported hearing gunfire shortly before the car crashed on State Road 50.

Deputies said the road was shut down for eight hours between Chuluota Road and Fort Christmas Road due to the crash and ongoing investigation.
At 6:30 a.m. Thursday, deputies they responded to the scene where a car struck a guardrail. That is when they noticed the bodies of Hunter and Sutorus.
UPDATE: This is a death investigation. At 6:30 am, deputies responded to E. Colonial Dr & Shepard Rd in reference to a vehicle striking a guardrail. Investigators said the homicide investigation is still ongoing.
“It’s very concerning,” nearby resident Richie Dooley said. “I have kids and I have a wife and everything out here, my whole family.”
