Kissimmee police walk fallen officer Matthew Baxter’s daughters to first day of school

ORLANDO, Fla. — Kissimmee police gave three sisters a special send-off on their first day of school.

The girls are the daughters of fallen Kissimmee police officer Matthew Baxter.

Baxter was killed in the line of duty in 2017.

The five-year mark of his passing is only one week away.

His daughter Sofia started kindergarten on Wednesday.

Kissimmee police greeted her and her sisters with flowers and walked them to class.

Sofia was just a baby when her father was killed.
