ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — A 16-year-old boy was arrested Tuesday after investigators said he fatally shot a woman at an Ocoee apartment complex.
Deputies were called to an apartment on Vizcaya Lake Rd. in Ocoee just before 11 p.m. Sunday for a report of a shooting.

They arrived to find 41-year-old Fonda Gandy with multiple gunshot wounds. She was taken to the hospital and pronounced dead there.
Orange County homicide detectives say there was an argument in the apartment before 16-year-old Michael Lecorn shot Gandy multiple times.
Deputies say Lecorn then tried to kill another woman in the apartment who was able to escape.
Lecorn was labeled “armed and dangerous” by the sheriff’s office. He was taken into custody Tuesday morning.
Gandy’s shooting has left her neighbors’ nerves rattled and her family devastated.
Residents of the complex who didn’t want their faces shown on camera said they were shocked by the news.
“Scared! I’m very scared,” one resident said. “It’s unbelievable.”
One neighbor said they heard about six or seven rounds fired just as they were about to go to sleep.
