UPDATE: Man found dead at Orange County apartment complex identified, reward offered for information

ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — Update: The man found dead at an Orange County apartment complex Wednesday has been identified as 48-year-old Elias Maldonado Perez.

Deputies responded to the 10000 block of Bastille Lane in Orlando just after 9 a.m. Wednesday morning in reference to a man down.

When deputies arrived, they located the victim unresponsive in his apartment with severe injuries. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

There is currently no suspect information. Anyone with information may be eligible for a reward of up to $5,000.

Deputies said a homicide investigation is underway after a man was found dead at an Orange County apartment complex Wednesday morning.

Investigators said a man in his 40s was found dead at ARIUM Greenview apartments on Bastille Lane just after 9 a.m.
