ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. — The Florida Department of Health in Orange County gave an update on the Monkeypox virus in the community.

According to a release, the DOH said there are currently 299 Monkeypox cases in Orange County, and over 9,000 vaccine doses were administered in the last seven months.

The community will hold the following outreach vaccination events this week:

  • Thursday, Jan. 12 at The Center
